When is the last day to order?
Orders close at the end of Wed 16 Dec. After that the form shuts itself, but call us on (02) 9451 6840 and we will see what we can do.
How do I place an order?
Pick a bundle or choose your items on this page, then check your order and enter your details. Choose the collection day that suits you. You pay a 20% deposit online when you order. The rest can be paid online before or when you collect, or in the shop when you collect. You can also pay the whole order online when you order. Weighed items are settled on the actual weight. Prefer to talk it through? Call the shop on (02) 9451 6840 and a butcher will help.
When can I collect?
Collection is 18–24 Dec. You choose your day when you order, and we have it ready at the shop in Forestville.
What are your Christmas and public holiday hours?
Christmas Eve (24 December): 6am to 12 noon (last pick-up before 12 noon); Christmas Day (25 December): closed; Boxing Day (26 December): closed; Sunday and Monday (27 December to 28 December): closed; New Year's Eve (31 December): 7am to 3pm; New Year's Day (1 January): closed. Every other day we keep our usual hours, which are on the Contact page.
Do I pay a deposit? When do I pay?
Yes. You pay a 20% deposit online when you order. The rest can be paid online before or when you collect, or in the shop when you collect. You can also pay the whole order online when you order. Weighed items are settled on the actual weight when you collect. Your order is confirmed when the deposit goes through. It is held for 2 hours while you pay; if the deposit isn't paid by then, the order is cancelled and the items go back on sale.
How much ham do I need per person?
Each ham and turkey on the order form shows how many it feeds. A half shank ham feeds 6 to 10, a boneless ham 8 to 14 and a large turkey 8 to 10. The Full Irish Christmas, ham and turkey together, feeds 8 to 10. Not sure? Call (02) 9451 6840 and a butcher will help.
Hams and turkeys are sold by weight. What will I be charged?
The weight you pick is an estimate. We weigh your order when we pack it and charge the actual weight, which can come in a little under or over your estimate. If the total would be noticeably over, we will call you before you pay.
Can I change or cancel my order?
Yes. Use the link in your confirmation, or look up your order with your reference and phone number. You can change or cancel online until the cut-off (Wed 16 Dec), and if you cancel by then what you paid online is refunded in full. After that, call the shop and we will do our best to change it, but we can't promise to.
I have an allergy or a special request.
Add a note to the item or to your order, and please call us on (02) 9451 6840 for any serious allergy so we can confirm exactly what is in a product.
